Value for a temperature range between room temperature and 1000-1800°F/540-980°C (orange)

(* or mm/mm)  COE is given in distance per length per degree.  Thus the ratio is actually independent of unit, but does differ between F & C because the degrees are different size.  It may be more meaningful to look with different units for length and distance,- for example, these numbers also apply to mm/km so a kilometer long piece of zinc would change 34.7 mm (about a foot) for each change of one degree Celsius. 
On the scale of this chart, lime glass has a COE of  8.0-10.6 (usually given as 80-106 x 10^7) and Pyrex (borosilicate) about 3.2 link
